today i have a card to share that i made for the newest mama elephant challenge! :) LOVE when they have challenges! :) this time is a photo inspiration, and WOW. i'm in love!! it's everything i'm totally digging now: clean, graphic, yellow, pink and black. *swoon*
so i had to play along, i couldn't sit by the side lines.
i had the
anyway, here's my card:
i used three mama elephant stamps: we click, bling and midnight letters.
i stamped the speech bubble multiple times on various patterned paper and vellum. then i layered them on top of the polaroid (which was popped up).
some of the speech bubbles are popped up too!
the 'xo' was stamped and fussy cut out. and the background is some awesome woodgrain paper! LOVE it! i added some (more!) texture by sewing some lines on the top and bottom of the card.
i finished it off with a few sequins and pearls! i was totally going for that clean white-on-white look, but i also wanted to add some interest...hence the woodgrain, sewing and pearls. :) fun!
we're heading down to FL for a quick weekend trip, so i don't know how crafty i'll be...eek! so if you're in FL, look for the girl with the shakes mumbling about pop dots, patterned paper and sequins. i'll be going through withdrawls. :) ha ha!! (just kidding - i'm going to have a wonderful time with my family and bf - danielle!)
enjoy!
This is super fun! LOVE the layered elements!
