we're home! and while we had an excellent time away, we're all happy to be home and get settled into our everyday routine! :) and for me, that means trying to get a little crafty while the little menn are asleep! :)
here's the card i was able to create today, for the latest lawnscaping challenge! LOVE that inspiration photo!
i was really drawn to the colors, especially the little square with the blues, greens and yellows.
my card:
i have to say, i showed my husband, and he was like, oh that's cute, this looks like a card you would give Scrat (from Madagascar). he's hilarious, and we love him - ha ha! so i'm ok with that!
i fussy cut and paper pieced all of these lawn fawn goodies. and the little bush was just trimmed from the top of the tree from the 'critters in the burbs' stamp set. (of course!) i used harold's abc's for the sentiment, and the sun is from 'sunny skies'.
and it all is popped up for dimension!
oh, and please forgive my pictures, i had to use my cell phone - my husband has the camera. he's taking the biggest little mann to his first 'official' ice skating lesson tonight. so excited for him! he's been skating since last summer, but this is his first class. :) what's cuter than a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds on ice skates, right? so he needed the camera. :)
enjoy!
hehe, I love this, very fun!
