DeNami Designs Monochromatic Blog Hop


hi there! and welcome to the DeNami Designs Monochromatic Blog Hop! can you believe all of the fabulous creations so far? everything is so inspiring! this is my first time participating in a blog hop, and i'm super excited!






here are a few things to keep in mind:

anyway, here is my card:




i made this card while i was visiting my best friend in florida! she was an all day crop, and i crop-crashed in for a few hours! danielle (girlracer scrap - also on this blog hop!) was so kind to let me use all of her stuff, since i was just in town for the weekend and didn't bring any supplies with me! i used the fabulous owls from the owl trio stamp set - love them!! they're so adorable! i can't get enough of owls! :)




i stamped (and fussy cut) the owls multiple times and popped up two of them for some dimension! i stamped the sentiment on some wasabi tape and made a few pleats for some added texture! i used some brown and white bakers twine to frame the patterened paper, and i really like that look!

    I love the owls! They make me smile. Also, like how you made a few of them pop off the page. That adds character. Love it!

    How super cute! Those owls in a row are darling and I like the way you cut them out, but stamped their feet! Great effect with the tape, too, it matches the colors of your card! Very creative!

    Oh I LOVE this card! The twine frame, the layered ribbon, the text background and of course those ADORABLE owls! they are precious, and look great in brown!!
    (PS - since you are a huge gnome fan, There She Goes Clear Stamps came out with an adorable gnome set recently, in case you wish to check it out) :)
