i am just BARELY getting this card in on time for the lawn fawn challenge (that ends in less than hour - eek!).
it's been so busy!! work, sick little one, christmas, packing, ack! just like everyone else, but i don't think i am making enough time to crraft - scratch that, i know i'm not making enough time! lol! my blog has been a bit of a ghost town - insert cricket sounds here! :)
so anyway, here's my card:
i used the critters in the 'burbs stamp set - which is super fun and happy, and surprisingly versitle! i had so many ideas, and then i caught the little one's cold and i became scrap-lazy! :) i finally settled on this idea! the cats and the bird are popped up for dimension. and the petals for the flower are dry embossed with polka dots - my favorite folder! i used the little dotted semi circle to make it look like the cats were talking, fun!
i definately think this card could put a little smile on someone's face!
enjoy!
This turned out really cute. I love how each cat has a different colored bow around his/her neck. They're super fun stamped on kraft paper too. :)
ReplyDeleteCuteness to the max!!
ReplyDeleteSami,
ReplyDeleteThis card reminds me of one of my favorite 80s toys, QUINTS! Do you remember them? http://irisheyes1983.blogspot.com/2010/06/quints.html
I had an entire house for my QUINTS!
