Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release - Festive Fawns + coordinating Dies

welcome to day 2 of Newton's Nook Designs Holiday release!

this release has totally got me in the mood for all things holidays and Christmas!! I just need South Carolina weather to catch up - it's so hot! ha!



oh how I love all of these new stamps, stencils and dies!! just wait until you see it all! but in the mean time, check out what we're working with today: Festive Fawns + coordinating Dies.
you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on October 18th, right here! 

this set is just darling to the CORE and I love each and every image!!

and this card is my FAVORITE one that I made for this release!

I stamped and colored all of these lights with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out!

I used the Forest Scene Builder Die Set to create the birch trees! then I used a grey Distress Ink and some grey watercolor markers to add color to them!

I also used the Land Borders Die Set to add to the hilly background!

and speaking of the background, I used Distress Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Peacock Feathers to ink blend the background. then I splattered some water on top. 

once it was dry, I used white embossing paste and the Snowfall Stencil to add texture to the background!

my first card uses the sweet little Holiday Lights stamp set!

I stamped and colored all of these lights with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out!

in the background, I used some white embossing paste and the Petite Snow Stencil to create a little bit of texture in the background!

once they were attached to the card, I used the Stickles to add some glitter to the lights!! LOOOVE that look!

my next card uses the sweet, adorable images from Christmas Trimmings!

I just love that holiday-theme and cute girl image!

I used Distress Inks in Chipped Sapphire, Mermaid Lagoon and Peacock Feathers to ink blend the sky, then used some (more) white embossing paste and the Petite Snow Stencil to add a little texture!

I couldn't resist a little bit of pink wash down the side!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #62 - Halloween Mood Board

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

yay!

what an adorable, and fun halloween themed challenge! and I looooooove the colors! soooo inspiring! 
I had a blast making this card! 

I am so in love with those cute dressed-up pups from Happy Howl-oween! I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color all of the images and then fussy cut them out!

I used Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks to ink blend the night sky. and Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade for the moon glow!
the ground was ink blended with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn and then die cut out with the Grassy Border dies set!

then I splattered some water, ink color and Liquid Stardust to add to the night sky! 
I also stamped some of the clouds from Plane and Simple to add to the sky, too! then I used heat embossed the sentiments in white!

Create a Smile Stamps September Release 2019

I'm so excited to be able to share this adorable new Create a Smile Stamps today!!

my project is actually a layout!
I used the new Banners stamp set!

so fun!!
I started by using the packaging technique to add the watercolor background! I used Distress Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, Tumbled Glass, Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn!

once it was dry, I stamped the banners (I used them as triangles, ha!) in the coordinating Distress Oxide Inks!

I also used the perviously released Clear Letters stamp set to help create the title, which I love!!

I also used the Big Stars Polka Stencil and some white embossing paste to add a little extra texture to the layout!

I finished the layout with some embellishing and the tiny Fruitalicious Enamel Stickers! loooooove those colors together!

hello again!
today I have a card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Blog post, and it's super fun, and super fall-themed!

loooooove it!
I used some almost navy cardstock for the background, and die cut out a bunch of vellum, and polka-dotted leaves using the Stitched Leaves dies!
I attached them to the background by using my sewing machine to stitch them all together! 

then I stamped the mushrooms and grass patches about 100 times (that just might be a bit of an exaggeration, but...who's counting? lol!) and colored them all with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers! 
once they were colored, I fussy cut them out and then arranged them in rainbow order! 
all of the images (including that little snail!! is from the super sweet Gleeful Gardens stamp set!

the sentiment is from the new Tree Before 'n Afters stamp set!

I finished off the card with some stickles on the dots of the mushrooms!
