baby you're a firework

this card makes me happy! i don't know if it's the colors, the neon, the splatters or what, but i like it! 
i made this card for two challenges:
CASE study (with this fabbbbbbulous inspiration picture) and paper smooches sparks - anything goes! holla!! :)



i used two stamp sets from paper smooches for this card: word salad and metropolis.



first i used some heidi swapp color shine (mustard of course - the best color!) and then splattered a few drops of pink too. i love this as a sky! 
then, i fussy cut out the builidings and popped up one for dimension. i also used my inktense water color pencils to color in the windows with yellow. i'm totally into using those pencils to add a little extra color onto patterned paper recently. hmm.


then i stamped the sentiment and fireworks in black staz-on ink and finished the card off with some hot pink enamel dots. fun! and happy! a perfect card for a birthday (or any big news), wouldn't you say?
